Some thoughts to share

Life has been crazy recently. I could probably write a book about being a self-employed mother of two young kids. You know getting up at 5 because someone is theething, doing a school run, cooking, feeding, cleaning (or attempting to), providing afterschool enterntainment. And then in between all that making sure the business is running, answering emails, doing online research (oh yeah, you can call it web browsing & facebooking if you wish), admin tasks, editing when the little one is asleep. So yes, I could potentially write a book (perhaps when I’m retired). But the thing is (and I know that for sure) I am not the only one like this. I know many women who chose this path of being a staying at home mum with a business to run (there are plenty of us in the wedding industry – florists, MUA artists, planners, etc.) So I’m not trying to say that I am a superhero (although I do feel like one sometimes). All I was going to say actually was that I don’t have that much time for blogging anymore.. Which I miss a lot. Last night when I was editing another stunning wedding I was itching to show you what I was up to this summer. There are so many truly beautiful and amazing weddings I’d like to share here (I am more likely share some sneak peeks on my Facebook page nowadays)! But it was time for my beauty sleep and here I am writing a personal post instead. So please forgive me my frequent silence here, especially if I shot your wedding and didn’t blog it yet. I do hope to catch up on blogging during quieter winter months.
Here are some recent frames from us with love xx

Chris Hall - Great photos, thanks for sharing. The large image is fantastic, you managed to capture all 3 of you looking at the camera. As you know, photographing children is never easy. I rarely photograph myself and my kids are much bigger and not so cute looking now, but I may just give a family portrait a go in the future. I will come back to the blog and take another look soon. I have subscribed to your feed. Thanks again.ReplyCancel
