“The photos look phenomenal! We are so so pleased. We couldn’t have imagined having any other photographer. You made us feel so comfortable and really made the whole process so fun and relaxed. We’ll be recommending you to everyone!” – Claire.
It’s not typical for me to share a full blog post only a week after the wedding, but here we go. I’m feeling incredibly excited about Claire and Stephen’s wedding at Chicheley Hall in Buckinghamshire and I’ve prepared a long post with many pictures. Perhaps too many, but hopefully you’ll find them interesting. So first of all Stephen’s moustache. I know it sounds silly, but the first thing I had on my mind when I met Stephen and Claire was: I want to blog this moustache. Please don’t judge me for my shallowness 🙂 The second thing about this wedding is that Claire and Stephen are such a perfect match for each other. I know most people who get married are more or less designed for each other. But every time I see this kind of perfect match I just want to keep looking at those people and smile 🙂 Being around happy people makes me happy. The third thing is about the venue, Chicheley Hall. This wedding venue is truly amazing. It is as grand as it’s cosy (really doesn’t feel like a hotel or anything like that). It’s perfect in its imperfections. It’s got immaculate gardens and a lot of character. It’s very charismatic with the science following you on each corner (it’s a home of Kavli Royal Society Centre). The pictures will tell you the story better than my poor words, so I’ll stop here. Only one mention to add. On the day I met two lovley ladies from the local florist company Field Gate Flowers who specialise in traditional British flowers. Haven’t they done a fantasic job? I love their modest and natural approach in creating Claire’s bouquet and decorating the venue and I love the idea of using the local home grown flowers.
