I am quite a bit behind blogging, just as always 🙂 But when I do get a chance to blog it feels great to look back at the images and relive those moments again. Like here, one of the rare sunny days this spring which I spent in the company of a beautiful young family. Angie and Kevin chose Howe Park Wood in Milton Keynes as a location for their family photo shoot. We were very lucky with the weather and to still have the bluebells in the woods. I think they added a very special atmosphere to the photos! We did plan it ahead, but because the shoot had to be rescheduled I wasn’t sure until the last moment if we’d have the bluebells bonus. And how pleased I was that we had! I absolutely loved creating these natural and happy family portraits in such a stunning environment!
Angie wrote a very lovely feedback for me:
“I loved being photographed by Natasha and she instantly made me, my husband and my 8 month old Dexter feel relaxed (no mean feat when faced with a camera!). Natasha suggested a favourite local walk for our family shoot and straight away we thought of Howe Park Woods. It turned out to be a great choice as the bluebells were in bloom, which added to the magic of the shoot.
I found Natasha to be a genuinely lovely person and so easy to be around. It was clear that it was really important to her to find ways for us to get the best out of our shoot. She suggested locations and shots as the inspiration struck her, but was also happy to follow us to our favourite spots in the woods.
Natasha found lots of imaginative ways to make Dexter smile and grab his attention and he thoroughly enjoyed being centre of attention. I also liked the way she encouraged Kev and I to share a few moments together, something we haven’t had much time for since the little one came along.
