old luxters barn wedding

Absolutely glorious day for Charlotte and Peter at the Old Luxters Barn in the Chilterns, on the boarder of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. I loved spending time in the company of this loveliest couple & their guests and being back to one of my favourite venues. Despite its main feature – the famous vineyard – not having any leaves yet (I guess it was a bit early for that) Old Luxters have still plenty to offer. Chiltern Hills simply cannot disappoint. (If you like walks and hiking I can’t recommend this area enough!) It was fantastic to witness this fun and relaxed day, as always great to learn more about the couple (I love speeches!) and photograph so many happy moments, pretty details, beautiful people and emotions! 🙂

I love everything about this pre-wedding shoot with Sophie and Martin in Stoke Hammond, Buckinghamshire. They definitely know how to bring a timeless and elegant feel to a photo session! The location is both beautiful and special to S+M. I love how this gorgeous spring garden creates a peaceful and romantic atmosphere, but my favourite part is how effortlessly Sophie and Martin look here. I keep saying that for majority of people I photograph it’s often the first experience of having professional photos done and to begin with it feels slightly nerve-wracking and alien. As the shoot goes on people get more and more confident and relaxed and that’s when looking at the camera doesn’t feel strange anymore. I love seeing this transformation which results in natural and beautiful portraits!buckinghamshire wedding and portrait photographyVIEW FULL POST »

I get hugely inspired by spring and everything it brings! My inner artist wakes up along with the nature and I want to create, give, live full life! Here is a little something from me to you. Feel free to download this image in high resolution if you like it and think you might want to use it for a print, card or anything else. It is also available in vintage. This and my other free downloads are accessible here.

wedding photography buckinghamshireAfter months of preparations Laura and Rio had the perfect wedding day which reflected who they truly are. Originally planned at a larger scale Laura and Rio listened to their hearts and decided to have a more intimate wedding so that they can enjoy themselves. And they did! (Good things happen when you follow your heart!) The ceremony took place at our beautiful local church in Stoke Goldington in Buckinghamshire. It was thoughtfully decorated by the villagers(!) I love the simple and elegant feel of the white and green palette of the flower arrangements there. The following reception was held at the 16th century Moretayne Manor. Great setting for a cosy meal with your loved ones. And perfect for speeches! (Oh Rio, your speech was so touching! Your love for your Mum, your family, Laura’s family and of course Laura shone through it 🙂 )  Laura and Rio, it was such a joy to be around you and your guests! I feel very privileged to have been part of your intimate family wedding! x

“As soon as we saw Natasha’s online portfolio we knew we loved the style of her photography, she seemed to capture so many special moments. When we originally met with Natasha, we were very impressed with her professionalism and her understanding of what we were looking for from our photographs. Natasha captured our wedding day beautifully. Despite the less than perfect weather conditions Natasha produced some amazing shots and was very adaptable on the day. She has exceptional attention to detail and looking back through the photos was like reliving the day all over again but with the bonus of her having captured things we couldn’t have noticed on the day – our guests and decor in particular. We loved working with her and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful photographer!” – Lindsey.tythe barn wedding photography

It was my pleasure to photograph Lindsey and Andy’s winter wedding at the Tythe Barn last month. There was no snow, but Christmas carols during the wedding ceremony were pretty amazing! I had a chance to get to know Lindsey and Andy beforehand, over the pre-wedding shoot with their little girl Sophia and it felt like I’ve known them for some time (I’m yet to blog that shoot). They are both positive, kind, ambitious and down to earth people (I know a great combo!) Last year was a big one for them with the arrival of the firstborn, new home and the wedding at the end of it! Tythe Barn provides a great space and atmosphere for a winter wedding. I love how warm and cozy this place feels. The fairy lights and candles together with the flower arrangements (Andy’s Mum Maureen put them together) make the venue look simply magical. Here are some of my favourite shots telling the story of the day.

family and portrait photographer milton keynes

A few years ago I photographed Susan and Paul’s wedding and last month I had a delight to do a family shoot for them. They now have 2 lovely little boys who were a pleasure to photograph. Susan told me she was thinking of having a family photo shoot with me as her birthday present when we bumped into each other not long after she became a mum for the second time! There is truly no coincidence and thoughts are material 🙂 I loved this idea and soon we made it happen. The location was the beautiful Peace Pagoda park in Milton Keynes, place where Susan and Paul had their spring pre wedding shoot with me! This time it was autumn and the place is absolutely magical, as it always is. I loved spending time with S&P and their boys and creating natural family portraits for them. Such an amazing feeling capturing the essence of family relations and the importance of people in each others life! Susan wrote some very sweet words for me:

“Thank you so very much .. the photos are just so incredibly beautiful, and they are truly everything that I had expected and more in terms of the quality, clarity and composition of your photos. What’s so lovely is that you captured not only the actual moments themselves but the very essence, feelings, personalities and atmosphere of those individual and irreplaceable moments too. These are therefore utterly priceless & precious in terms of our memories of the photo shoot and eternalised for years to come. Thank you very much ;0) It was so lovely to have a session with you again.”

“Thank you so much for the photos – they are absolutely fantastic! I think you’ve captured pretty much everything we could have wanted and it’s such a lovely mix of beautiful group shots, natural shots and artistic shots that really shows the day unfold – so beautiful! It’s really helped us relive the day and enjoy a lot of the details that we weren’t able to fully appreciate on the day. We are so impressed at how you managed to be in so many places at once, capturing the wedding from so many different perspectives, and also control the crowds to get the group photos – certainly no easy task! You did a wonderful job – thank you!” – Helen & David.tythe barn wedding photography

I am again at one of my favourite venues near Buckinghamshire – the Tythe Barn in Bicester. Amazing day with two beautiful wedding ceremonies, lots of the great outdoors brought indoors, guests from all over the world, tons of hugs and kisses and smiles! It was a pleasure to spend the day in the very warm company of Helen and David – two crazily in love people – and their families and friends. Many congratulations to Helen and David!tythe barn wedding photographyVIEW FULL POST »

berkhamsted wedding photographyNikki and Mike booked me while they still lived in Australia. They moved back to the UK this summer to start a new chapter of their life and what a start it has been! An amazing wedding they celebrated with the loved ones in Nikki’s home town of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. The ceremony took place at the Berkhamsted Chapel Castle Campus with the drinks followed just outside the chapel and the marquee reception at Haresfoot School

I loved the classic chic feel of this elegant wedding. Rain or no rain it felt sophisticated and stylish. If anything the rain made it even more English! 🙂 I couldn’t be happier with the elegantly decorated spacious marquee they had – made it perfect for some natural light portraits. Thanks to my colleague Will for coming and shooting along.
