I had a brilliant time last Saturday with Claire and Stephen walking around beautiful countryside in Milton Keynes (I know the last two don’t sound very typical together, but let’s not forget Milton Keynes is located in Buckinghamshire with its lovely rural landscapes). Claire and Stephen are a joy to have in front of the camera and just to hang out with. I love their autumnal look and how perfectly it worked with the surroundings. I thought I’d share some of the images straight away before this beautiful season is ended. Claire and Stephen’s wedding is just around the corner and at one of my favourite venues in Bucks – Chicheley Hall. I can’t wait
I wanted to blog this shoot for a while. Dasha is (now) a good friend of mine who also happen to be a wedding photographer. I came across her work on the internet and fell in love with her photos. I absolutely love the way her couples look so natural and romantic on them. This is how I like seeing my couples. I contacted Dasha last year and she did a family portrait shoot in Richmond Park for us. We now have some truly beautiful and amazing photos of a very special moment when we were expecting our second child, the images which we will cherish forever. And then it was my turn to get some pictures of Dasha and her husband Michael. I must tell you it’s quite nerve wracking to have another photographer in front of the camera! But Dasha and Michael made it so easy for me! They were fun and easy-going and I just generally had a brilliant morning hanging out with them in central London that day. We soon discovered that we have a lot in common and it’s always a pleasure to have our little chats about weddings, professional matters and just life. So happy I met you Dash!
I had a super fun morning yesterday with my fellow photographer Dasha and her husband Michael. Dasha took some awesome photos of our family last year just before we became 4 and since then we became good friends.
Yesterday it was my chance to have a photographer on the other side of the camera. Our poor husbands, they both complained it was “too much kissing”
Oh man, I love this photo! There is nothing more beautiful to me than photographing true feelings and emotions! When people don’t look forced on the photos, when they kind of forget about the presence of the photographer and relax to the point that they are just being themselves.
This is Emily and Jamie and I met them at the end of last year for their engagement shoot in Stony Stratford in Buckinghamshire. We had lots of fun hanging around this old picturesque town near Milton Keynes, where they live and are going to get married this year. I am looking forward to their wedding which will be very very soon!
If you asked me what was the most adventurous thing I did this summer, the answer would be: “making an appointment for 6.30am on a Saturday morning in Central London”. As you can see I’m not that adventurous after all. Meredith and Tom are two Americans who got engaged in London and seem quite like the place as they keep coming here every year as summer teachers. They’re getting married next year in the US, but wanted to have their engagement shoot done here in London. So here I was with my idea of meeting at 6.30 in the morning and “having London without crowds to themselves”. You can see below what we ended up with that morning.
