Oh man, I love this photo! There is nothing more beautiful to me than photographing true feelings and emotions! When people don’t look forced on the photos, when they kind of forget about the presence of the photographer and relax to the point that they are just being themselves.
This is Emily and Jamie and I met them at the end of last year for their engagement shoot in Stony Stratford in Buckinghamshire. We had lots of fun hanging around this old picturesque town near Milton Keynes, where they live and are going to get married this year. I am looking forward to their wedding which will be very very soon!

An engagement shoot in London ~ Meredith & Tom

If you asked me what was the most adventurous thing I did this summer, the answer would be: “making an appointment for 6.30am on a Saturday morning in Central London”. As you can see I’m not that adventurous after all. Meredith and Tom are two Americans who got engaged in London and seem quite like the place as they keep coming here every year as summer teachers. They’re getting married next year in the US, but wanted to have their engagement shoot done here in London. So here I was with my idea of meeting at 6.30 in the morning and “having London without crowds to themselves”. You can see below what we ended up with that morning.

Anna & Fred’s city engagement shoot | London wedding & portrait photography

“We are absolutely thrilled with the photos. They look amazing. We were with some friends when I got the email and they all said how wonderful they are. Of course we don’t mind you using the photos on your blog. We are so excited about our wedding photos!! Thankyou very much” – Anna and Fred.

I love it when couples bring their personalities to the photo shoot! It is actually what makes my job so diverse and enjoyable – meeting different people. Even going to the same place for a shoot doesn’t mean it will be the same. With Anna and Fred we went to the city location near Euston Station in London where I have done recently another engagement shoot. I loved Anna’s sense of style and that little black dress of hers which gave almost a styled fashion look to the whole shoot (and this type of shoot isn’t quite typical for me). Anna and Fred, thanks for being super easy in front of the camera! I am no less excited to be your wedding photographer later this year!

Laura & Dominic | Wedding and engagement photography in Buckinghamshire

“We are back from holiday and have had a look at the shots, we love them!” – Laura.

Laura and Dominic are one of those couples who say “Oh, no, we’re not photogenic!” Seriously? Looking so natural and relaxed and not hiding the feelings in front of the camera is what I consider being photogenic :) It was a lovely summery evening and I took Laura and Dominic to Campbell Park in Milton Keynes for their pre-wedding shoot. Thanks for coming all the way to see me, really nice meeting you both guys!

Buckinghamshire wedding and engagement photography ~ Hannah & Martin

Some of my favourite images from Hannah and Martin’s engagement shoot last week. Once again we went to my favourite spot here in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire. I just love its peaceful settings and the willow trees are so romantic. Perfect location for some sweet and dreamy shots! Thank you Hannah and Martin for coming all the way, it was lovely to meet you!
