FAQ

What packages do you offer?

Majority of my clients book me to photograph their full wedding day from getting ready to evening. The number of hours will vary depending on your timings. From my experience, if you're spending the whole day at the same venue, 7 hours of coverage can suffice for all the main parts.

10 hours is a standard coverage, especially if travelling between the venues is involved and you want to make sure nothing gets missed. I personally like it when my couples feel relaxed without having to worry if it's time for their photographer to depart. This is why I also call my 10 hour coverage unlimited. When you book it I am yours all day and will see things through to the end (however long the speeches or changing the room may take).

What if we don't need photos of getting ready (or evening)?

It's not everyone's thing to have the morning of their wedding day photographed. In this case I offer half-day coverage. I will arrive at the venue about 30 minutes before the ceremony and stay till the evening (or when we agree). Please contact me to get a quote for half-day or any other custom package.

So, how does it work?

I understand how important it is for you to choose the right photographer (because quite simply you can't repeat this day), so before making your decision we can meet in person or have a phone/ skype chat. I'm based in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire. Many of my clients book me after a phone or skype call as travel is not always convenient.

When you're ready to book, a signed agreement and a 25% deposit will be required to secure the date.

I used to offer a complimentary engagement or pre-wedding shoot to my couples as I wanted them to be completely comfortable with their photos taken, but not all couples were actually using this offer. So to make it fairer I've decided to add a small charge for this shoot. Some people found their engagement shoot really helpful (check Tally and Wayne's video review on my home page) while others preferred to skip.

If you decide to have an engagement shoot, all high res photos from it will be included (some people use them for the wedding stationery, table plan, framing and putting on the table with the cake, etc.)

Most of my weddings I photograph solo, but there is an option to have a second shooter. This can be useful if your wedding party is quite large (150+), you have a long list of group photos or would like coverage of both bride and groom getting ready and there is a significant travel distance between you.

The photos are ready 4 weeks after the wedding. You will get instant access to the full gallery of high res images and I will also send them on a neatly presented little USB (you can even pop it into your wallet). Your guests or anyone who has the gallery password will be able to download what they want directly from the gallery.

How many images will we receive?

I don't limit myself when taking photos and won't be upselling anything later. You'll hear LOTS of clicks, but I'll leave only those that are worth looking at. On average it's 600+ images from full day coverage, all in colour and also black and white (so you have both).

Do you do albums?

Yes, I offer handcrafted professional wedding albums in a variety of sizes that are finished to the highest standards. A perfect way to display your wedding photos.

Do you travel?

Although the majority of my weddings are here in Buckinghamshire and Southern England (I often work at venues in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire) I love travelling to new destinations. Photographing at a new place means a new, fresh perspective and there is nothing more exciting for a creative person!

Can we see a full wedding collection?

Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to browse through my full wedding collections to get a better idea what my clients receive (you'll need a password for that). Of maybe you worry about having a low light wedding? A wet wedding? Just ask to see an example wedding in these conditions and I'll be happy to show more.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
